same sex marriage
As of the end of August 2013, same sex and transgendered couples are able to marry and as I have always been a strong believer in equality for each and everyone, it goes without saying that as a celebrant, I am thrilled that gay marriages can take place and that same sex couples can experience the same legal rights as everyone else.
The process is exactly the same and it gives me immense pleasure to guide couples through the steps to “I Do” because when all said and done, love is love.
Albert Einstein sums it up just perfectly with this quote –
Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love. How on earth do you explain the phenomenon that is love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special person for an hour and it seems like a minute. That’s relativity.
